It's look like a decorated wooden box , use in any special occasion - like carry bride & groom , birthday to carry child for recreation for parents,or lot of many fictions in family . this is important part of south Asian tradition .whenever in any festival arrive any palki/palanquin,  obedience  enjoy enough . every one think like  our most older & conservative culture return back again . until now lot of celebrities used the palki in they are wedding  ceremony , many Indian film star , also uncountable star person . even previous miss world aishwarya rai . it's really not forgettable for .     
                 mention able - when bride & groom sit in middle of  palki then front & behind have a long handle , you  guys can see in picture sure . then four  guys (special carry man - locally call - bera  in English bearer or somewhere some other) ,take that long handle on shoulder  two by two and walking front .
