Cane is forest materials after the bamboo here in south Asia . around the Bangladesh, India ,Myanmar , Indonesia every where it’s available where  forest is .  

IN Bangladesh, cane is very strong resource for make handicraft .it’s easy to get in forest, like bamboo.

Craft man collect it from mountaineer, who sale in many places around the country. And then make furniture’s – like sofa, chair , couch ,table , house hold items, and many  show piece .                   

The specialty is people buy on average & it’s not so cheap , but demand able . it’s true – we did export many places i mean many  country “THE CANE” . our buyer is very happy with us  as report of our exporter association . we have goodwill on this industries from  few very important country like Japan Canada ,Germany , Saudi Arabia , Arab emirates  from international trade fairs .   

Cane work is traditional craft in Bangladesh , every corner of this country if you visit any family in village & city - commonly people use cane made something  for home decoration . in this way i can say our woman is very  trained on cane work –remember ! not less then any big artist . yes  it’s true and they earn too .
